We strive to make Halloween a fun day for everyone. In order to keep it a fun (and safe) environment, please follow a few simply rules & regulations:
1. No adults or children over the age of 10 are permitted to wear a mask or full face painting while inside the shopping center.
2. Costume accessories that resemble a weapon of any kind will not be permitted inside the shopping center.
3. Use of silly string or blow horns is strictly prohibited.

*Union Gap Corn Maze

It's back! The famous Union Gap Corn Maze!
Opens Oct 7th with Big Ern Productions kicking off the start of the season!
Open Wed - Sundays.  Monday & Tuesdays are available for private parties.
They offer a Children's Day Program M-F from 9AM - 1PM with reservation.  They will have Scary-Oke on October 13th, 20th & 27th with Big Ern Productions.
Admission for ages 3 and up is $10 (groups of 20 or more receive $1 off admission).
Reserve a private fire pit for just your group for 2 hours - cost is $20 - $35 depending on size. 
Bring the family to pick that perfect pumpkin in the field or in the barn. The big maze is haunted Wednesday thru Saturday night. 
Pumpkin Chucker, Air Cannons, Bouncy Houses & Bouncy Slide, Hay Rides, Concession & more!
Reserved Fire Pits are also available for your family or group!
Admission includes unlimited access to the 10 acre maze, unlimited hay rides, use of the public fire pits, 10 and under can run through the straw maze, admire our farm animals, unlimited rides on the inflatable slide, and access to the kids corn maze which is never haunted.

*The Olde Yakima Letterpress Museum - Free Admission

First Fridays of the month from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 
1st, 3rd and 5th Saturdays of the month from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  
 
The Olde Yakima Letterpress Museum  is a working 1900's letterpress printing shop, offering the opportunity for people of all ages to learn the ancient art of setting movable type and using a hand operated printing press.  People set a line or two, print their work on a card and come out with a great museum experience. The museum's collection includes 15 presses from the 1850s to the 1940s and more than 400 different type cases. 
 

*10th Annual October Days at Washington Fruit Place

*Pumpkin Patch at Thompson's Farm

Open to the public on the weekends in October from 9 am - 4 pm.
Remember it gets dark early this time of year!
We do not charge admission and there is not a charge to see the pumpkin cannons  "fired on the hour 10 to 4" or pig races which usually follow the cannon firing.
We do however charge for corn maze, children's play area, hay rides, pumpkins, home made donuts, and other goodies.

This Saturday Wapato is turning into TAMALE TOWN with the 13th annual Tamale Festival!!
The downtown streets of Wapato will be filled with dancing, custom cars, and Tamales from 10am-3pm this Saturday. There will be a Tamale cook-off, a mechanical bull, music, pumpkin decorating, baked goods and even Indian Tacos Sold!! This is an event for the WHOLE family so bring them to Wapato and enjoy delicious Tamales! :)
