Jennifer Hudson Thinks 'American Idol' is Over

 

Former American Idol contestant Jennifer Hudson thinks that the show is over and should bow out on top. Last week's season premiere featuring new judges Mariah Carey, Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban did nothing to help ratings -- the premiere garnered 17.9 million viewers, down 19% from 2012.

Jennifer Hudson told Celebuzz, "Everything has its time. I think it should just allow itself to go out on top... and gracefully. American Idol changed the face of television... not everyone can say that. And, it's always been a phenomenon. I'm proud to have come from American Idol, so I just say, go out on top."
