Katt Williams and Faizon Love Altercation
Comedian Katt Williams was detained outside of Hollywood's Supperclub last week for allegedly brandishing a firearm during an argument with comedian Faizon Love. According to Love, Williams owes him $50,000 and tempers flared when he approached Williams about the debt. The police were called and Williams was briefly detained. Over the weekend, Williams seemed genuinely surprised that Love would share the details of the altercation with the media.
Williams told TMZ.com, "You're telling me Faizon the actor said on TMZ that I did what. . . . You're saying he's a snitch. You're saying he's a bald face rat . . . You said he went and told you street business."
The comedian then shared his side of things. He explained, "We got into an altercation. He said some things. Then he called the police, the police came and they did a full investigation."
He added, "He weights 455 pounds. I weigh 140. If his story is that Katt Williams, he had a problem with in a parking lot. Then he needs to explain why Katt Williams' face looks like this and he still weighs 455."
Williams ended the impromptu interview with a quick pop shot at Love. He quipped, "Faizon he can tell the police whatever he wants. Faizon write some jokes."
