A fired-up Drake burst on stage at Jones Beach Saturday night — and right away hinted at his bottle-throwing club brawl with rival Chris Brown. But there was no partying at the Manhattan club where the short-fused hip-hop stars battled early Thursday.
Club W.i.P. was shut indefinitely for “numerous” violations — some stemming from the the Drake-Brown dust-up, police said.
“When I woke up this morning, I had to think about a lot of things,” Drake said onstage. “But the only thing I gave a f--- about was that I was in New York City tonight.”
Fans cheered his name and danced in the stands.
After a couple of songs, Drake again dropped what appeared to be a reference to the scuffle. “It’s last call and you’re really too drunk to give a f---,” said Drake, wearing a long-sleeve black shirt and dark jeans.
“A n---- in the corner is standing there looking at you funny. You bump elbows with him on the way to the bathroom, but really there’s only one n---- that you got to think about.” -Read More
