Cordell Broadus Receives Scholarship Offer From UCLA
Snoop Dogg's Son Offered Scholarship
Despite the controversy surrounding Diddy's son receiving an athletic scholarship from UCLA, the university has its eyes set on another celebrity kid named Cordell.
According to USA Today, rapper Snoop Dogg's son Cordell Broadus has been offered a scholarship by UCLA to play football as well.
However, it will be another few years before he can take advantage.
Cordell is entering his sophomore year at Diamond Bar High School in Southern California. He's played wide receiver and defensive back as a freshman, and transferred to Diamond Bar last fall after attending Long Beach Poly where he was a standout player.
Now, his new coach hopes he can lead the team for the rest of his high school years.
"We're expecting him to really lead us the next three years," Diamond Bar High School football coach Ryan Maine told ESPN. "Hopefully [our athletes] get bigger, stronger and keep leading this team."
