*Yakima Valley Trolley Operating Season

The 2017 Operating Season begins on May 27 and will continue on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays through September 24. Trolleys leave the Carbarn between 10 am and 3 pm. Trolleys operate on the quaint Pine Street line some weekends and on the historic Selah line others, depending on restoration and maintenance work planned. Please call ahead to confirm.

We look forward to showcasing the beauty and bounty of our community with incredible beer, wine, food and live music in the heart of hop country. All funds raised through the event will be used to support local youth sports and activities through Sunnyside Daybreak Rotary Club.
Dates tentatively set for June 17, 24, July 1 & 8, 9am to 5pm and Tuesday, July 4th, 11am to 5pm. It is the season everyone waits for all year long...fresh Cherries and Berries! With four varieties of Sweet Cherries and one Tart Cherry along with Certified Organic Blueberries and Raspberries it is a season hard to beat! Put on your sun hat, take a hayride to the field and enjoy some cherry and berry deliciousness!
After picking cool off in the shade with a tasty bbq lunch of burgers or hotdogs, and a cool lemonade. Top off your lunch with our famous Donuts straight from the fryer! Cherry and blueberry flavors available on different weekends. Younger kids always enjoy our two farm Playgrounds, visiting our Animal Farm or a Barnyard Train ride. Older kids and parents will get a kick out of our Apple Slingshots.
And to top off your day be sure to allow time to visit our Farm Store and pick up some local food products, giftware or frozen berries. Be sure to bring your camera because photo opportunities abound!

9 am - 4 pm. The City of Selah will be closing down 1st Street to showcase the best cars in the Yakima Valley. Over 20 awards will be given out to the best cars in multiple categories and we will be featuring live music from the best bands in the community!
We are pleased to share that we have a Patrons Bus for each of our Summer Sunday Symphonies! Check in with the YSO Bus Liaison at the bus at 4:15 pm on concert days, the bus will leave Yakima at 4:30 pm and the concerts begin at 7:30 pm. Concert dates: June 25, July 23, and August 20.

The Selah Downtown Association is holding a multi-family, community yard sale. Saturday June 10th, 8am-3pm at the Selah Civic Center, 216 S. 1st St., Selah. Vendors are invited to sell second-hand, or previously-used items, and antique, vintage or upcycled items. Vendor space is open to both individuals and community groups. The community of Granger, including the surrounding areas were shocked to hear the horrific news of a Mother being murdered by her husband recently. This leaves EIGHT children without parents, extended family working hard to keep them together so the Granger School District has come together to help these precious kids with clothing and more. John Legends songs are full of love and strong messages and so is his heart! Over in Seattle there was a gofundmepage set-up to help with Seattle Public School Lunch accounts that were passed due. The goal was to raise $20,000 and they were off to a good start when creator John Lew noticed a big chunk of change had just been donated. When he searched to find the identy of the donor of $5,000 to thank him, he noticed the name John Stephens aka John Legend!!
